BIO
Dumitru Tănase is an Energy Engineer and Technical Manager with extensive experience in research infrastructure management, the implementation of European-funded projects, and the coordination of innovative technology initiatives. His work combines technical expertise with operational management, supporting interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of research, technology, and the creative industries.
POSITION
Technical Director of the International Research and Education Centre for Innovative Creative Technologies (CINETic) at the National University of Theatre and Film “I.L. Caragiale” (UNATC), Bucharest. He oversees the Centre’s technical and operational activities, research infrastructure development, strategic project implementation, and the management of advanced technological systems and equipment.
EDUCATION
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering and a Master’s degree in Energy Efficiency from the University Politehnica of Bucharest. He is also certified as a Public Procurement Expert and has expertise in IT infrastructure management and digital technologies supporting research activities.
PROJECTS
He has contributed to the implementation and technical coordination of major national and international research and innovation projects, including CINETic, the MET project (Development of a Theatre Therapy Methodology with Neurochemical and Neurocognitive Effects), and projects funded through Romania’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). He has also coordinated the technical aspects of numerous international conferences, exhibitions, festivals, and interdisciplinary events dedicated to creative technologies and research.
