BIO
Radu Crăciun is a director, playwright and researcher at the Department of Research, Development, Innovation of UNATC “I.L. Caragiale” Bucharest. In 2019 he obtained his PhD in performing arts and began working as a research assistant at the DCDI of UNATC in 2022.
He authored several studies focusing on the Brechtian method of alienation. In 2020, he published his doctoral thesis on the dialectical relationship between subversion and political power under the title “Specters of Yorick”, and in 2024 he published a critical investigation on the queer elite in Romanian theater during the so-called “dark decade”.
