Robots-in-Residence – hybrid performance

Robots-in-Residence is part of the Generation A = Algorithmus program developped by the Goethe-Institut, and during the Robots-in-Residence initiative, several NAO robots were sent to visit different European cities.
NAOmi Robot has already visited Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Poland and Bratislava, and as of March 2021 it has been in Bucharest working and learning from the students of the National University of Theatre and Film „I.L. Caragiale”, at CINETic.
Our students, Cristina-Maria Misirgic, Maria Bucurenciu and Cristina Bodnarescu will show us live what they’ve taught NAOmi and what they’ve in their turn learned from Her. The hybrid performance will be followed by a live Q&A in English on topics ranging from AI, man-robot interaction and all the ethical conundrums rising from this impending interaction.
The project is organized by the Goethe-Institut in Bucharest, in partnership with UNATC „I.L. Caragiale”.
